Drawing is the foundation for Sarah's whole practice from her sculptural work to her rotoscope animations, this process can be both intuitive and subconscious. Sarah uses elements from architecture and nature along with pattern to create objects and landscapes that are simultaneously familiar and strange. She is interested in the limitations and boundaries of the drawing surface filling and layering it with marks, pattern and colour.
