Sculpture
Sarah is fascinated by space, how we occupy it, interact and live within it. She is particularly interested in built space. Some of her previous sculptural practice has been exploring and creating objects and spaces that at first appear to be familiar and practical yet at a closer glance reveal that they are without function. Sarah approaches much of her sculptural work in the same way as she does her drawings by filling empty space. She is also fascinated by the physical and tactile element to using contrasting materials when producing sculptural work.
